News for Nerds. (rights, oss)

Slashdot [slashdot.org] had some interesting articles posted today:

“As everyone should now know, Sobig.F has generated a tremendous amount of e-mail traffic world-wide. However, part of the blame for this traffic should be placed on some of the anti-virus companies.”

“We are happy that you agree that customers need to know that Open Source is legal and stable, and we heartily agree with that sentence of your letter. The others don’t seem to make as much sense, but we find the dialogue refreshing.”

Slashdot particularly mentioned #6: Closing Access to Information Technology , but I also found #1: The Neoconservative Plan for Global Dominance informative. The entire list, in fact, is quite interesting.
